This was a way for me to express my emotions and find my voice when I thought it couldn’t be heard by others.
Growing up I was always very music-oriented and loved to write lyrics.

The next day I walk into class and all of a sudden, everyone starts to stare but I feel confident, so I don't allow the whisperings to bother me. As I’m sitting down, I overhear one of my classmates’ whispers” maybe they are extensions?”, I decided to answer her question and clear the air, so I turn around and respond with “maybe they're just Maybelline.”

One of my best friends started a reusable straw business. She needed help with differentiating her brand to competitors, with a tagline that would make consumers feel the experience beyond the purchase of the product.
